Onboarding Tour
What invited members see the first time they join an HOA on Fourplex.
Onboarding Tour
If someone invites you to an HOA on Fourplex, the first link in the email opens a short onboarding tour. The desktop tour begins with a Welcome to Fourplex intro, then walks through a fictional sample community so new members can understand the basics before entering the real app.
What happens after I click the invite link?
- Open the invite email and click the join link.
- Sign in or create your Fourplex account if prompted.
- Fourplex opens the onboarding tour for your role.
- When you finish, Fourplex sends you to the right place automatically.
Residents finish in the Member portal. Board members finish in the Dashboard.
What does the tour show me?
The tour depends on your role.
- Residents see how to check dues, set up autopay, compare ACH vs. card fees, read notifications, find documents, and send requests.
- Board members see the dashboard, shared HOA inbox, optional email forwarding, calendar, finances, billing, units, members/invites, documents, support, then the full resident portal tour before returning to board tools.
On a phone, Fourplex shows a shorter swipeable overview instead of the full desktop walkthrough.
Can I skip the tour?
Yes. Use Skip in the top-right corner. Fourplex asks for confirmation before leaving the tour, then sends you into the app right away.
Can I see the full tour later?
The guided desktop walkthrough is mainly for first-time invitees. If you joined on a phone, sign in from a laptop later for the full desktop experience when available. If something still feels unclear, reply to the invite email or contact your board.
What if the link says the invite is unavailable?
The invite may have expired, already been accepted, or belong to a different account than the one currently signed in. Ask the board to resend the invite if needed.
