Requests

The Requests page brings together all three request types — Maintenance Requests, ARC Requests, and Records Requests — in one place. From here you can start a new request or check the status of existing ones without navigating to separate sections of the app.

What request types are available?

Each type may be enabled or disabled by your HOA's board:

• Maintenance Requests — Report a property issue (broken gate, common-area lighting, etc.) for the board or maintenance team to resolve.
• ARC Requests — Submit an architectural proposal (fence, paint color, addition, solar panels, etc.) for the Architectural Review Committee to approve before you start work.
• Records Requests — Request official HOA documents you are entitled to receive under Washington state law (meeting minutes, financial records, governing documents, etc.).

If a type shows as unavailable or does not appear on your Requests page, it has been disabled by your board. Ask a board member to enable it from Settings → Features.

How to submit a request

1. Go to Requests in the sidebar.
2. Click the card for the type of request you want to submit.
3. Fill out the form and attach any supporting files.
4. Submit. You will receive a confirmation and can track progress from the same page.

Common questions

Why don't I see a certain request type?

Your board has disabled that type. Only board members can enable or disable request types from Settings → Features. If you believe a type should be available, contact a board member.

I'm a board member — how do I enable or disable a request type?

Go to Settings → Features. Each request type has a toggle. Changes take effect immediately for all members.

What if I don't see the Requests section at all?

If none of the three request types are enabled for your HOA, the Requests link does not appear in the sidebar for regular members. Board members will see a muted "Requests" link that leads to Settings → Features where they can enable at least one type.
