HOA quorum FAQ
- How is percent-based HOA quorum calculated?
- This tool multiplies total voting members by your quorum percent and rounds up to the next whole member (ceiling). For example, 4 members at 20% quorum requires 1 member; 5 members at 50% requires 3.
- Do proxies count toward quorum?
- Many associations count valid proxies toward quorum, but your CC&Rs or bylaws define the rule. Enter proxies only if your governing documents allow them for quorum purposes.
